First Baptist Church Of La Crosse, Wisconsin

Missions

At First Baptist Church of La Crosse we support a number of local and international mission projects.

As affiliated with the American Baptist Churches - USA, we collect four special offerings throughout the year, for Retired Ministers and Missionaries, for America for Christ, for One Great Hour of Sharing, and for World Mission.

In association with the American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin, we support Camp Tamarack and the Milwaukee Christian Center, among other ministries. We are also one of a number of churches participating in the New Church/New Century program from the ABC-WI.

Here in La Crosse, our Outreach supports the Salvation Army, the WAFER food for the hungry program, and the Bethany Nursing home. We also are involved with serving Monday Meals, supporting United Campus Ministries, and delivery of Mobile Meals.

This is not intended to be an all encompassing list of our outreach, but rather to supply you with an idea as to who we are and what types and variety of things we support. As members of Christ's church we believe that to be Christians explicitly calls for performing ministry to those in need. We welcome your participation in these efforts at all times.

2003 Youth Retreat attendees work in the Hunger Taskforce garden. We will do this and more again the last weekend in April. To learn more, click here.
Our Youth Retreat attendees helped the Salvation Army prepare their facilities and worked in the Hunger Taskforce garden again during the last weekend in April.

We invite you to join us in worship, learning, and fellowship as we seek God's truth and His will in our lives.
